Hello, and welcome to my page! My name is Yan and I am the Graphic Designer for the Sangre de Cristo Art & Conference Center here in the great state of Colorado. The passion I have for art is something that will always be a part of me and now my work will also follow suit. My goal is to establish a presence of modern and nostalgic mix to resonate with our Pueblo local community.
I have worked as a Marketing Graphic Designer for Big R Stores here in Southern Colorado. I provided marketing and graphic materials for all stores as well as maintaining the website banners with scheduled marketing content from vendors. I started with designing their bi-weekly handouts and weekly emails with more than 50,000+ subscribers to tackling the 16 page flyers, we have six throughout the year. After situating their workflow with their flyers, handouts, and marketing materials, I moved along to branding their E-mail newsletters to comply with sales, and exclusive deals to go with their loyalty program, which I also designed the logo. During my time with Tipping Point Solutions, I am honored to be involved with designing and developing MTBI (Mild Traumatic Brain Injury) courses for army medics and providers. I also designed a training course for new employees in the Veterans Affairs hospital in Orlando, Florida, as well as being involved with creating map art for the ARMY Intelligence Museum in Fort Huachuca, Arizona.
Before this I have experienced in embroidery designs, worked in a print shop as the preflight operator, so my attention to detail is toned and fit from this position. The challenge now is adding more motion graphics into our static images. Motion and animation has always been a big part of me, from watching them growing up to how they are put in motion on the back end. Please take your time with my portfolio. If you have any questions just send me an E-mail on the contact page. Thank you for your time and have a great rest of your day.
